Yes, I do that also but I forget the exact length of the swings and have to measure them again all the time…

You can do that in a basic fashion with the crosshairs and cursor.

Hi all,

One of the methods of Carolyn Boroden is to look for "Symmetry" (similarity in the length of the swings).

The way to measure it in MTT4 is using the 3 point expansion tool.

This way is cumbersome to use.

I was trying to use a non rayed trend line, copying it and duplicating it but this is not good enough.

What I need is a tool that will write the length of the trend line I draw, in pips, above/below the trend line or on the top/bottom of the graph.

Is this possible to do?
